New York – January 25, 2018 – VSS, a private investment firm focused on the information, healthcare services, tech-enabled business services, and education industries, announced it has divested special education schools, Rebecca School and Aaron School, subsidiaries of its portfolio company MetSchools, LLC. The schools were acquired by Sequel Youth and Family Services, a portfolio company of Altamont Capital Management.

MetSchools is an education management company that oversees a family of schools and serves students in New York City. Rebecca School, established in 2006, provides a therapeutic program for children ages 3 – 21 with neurodevelopmental delays in relating and communication, including autism spectrum disorders. Aaron School, established in 2003, serves K-12 students with reading, writing, math, attention, sensory, and social disabilities. Going forward, MetSchools will continue operating the other schools in its portfolio.
