Our Team

Andreas Skibiel is a Managing Director who joined VSS in 2025. He is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and structuring investment opportunities, transaction execution, and supporting portfolio companies.

Andreas brings over three decades of investing experience, with an emphasis on direct lending and structured capital. Prior to joining VSS, Andreas was a Partner at GarMark Partners, a credit focused asset manager. Previously, he was a Partner at York Street Capital Partners, a private debt firm. Andreas began his investment career in leveraged leasing and project finance at AT&T Capital and The CIT Group.

Andreas holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University.
